Apollo50 – Russian
23rd July 2019 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

This summer, we are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the first humans to walk on the Moon. The achievements of the Space Race was driven, in part, by the tensions between the USA and USSR during the Cold War. To mark this, come and learn some Russian and find out about Sochi – one of Cheltenham’s twin towns.
You can drop-in to the science centre in Coronation Square, Cheltenham at any time between 10am and 12:30pm. You can also explore our permanent collection of hands-on exhibits. The science centre will remain open until 4pm. This is included in normal admission: £2 per person (aged over 4), £7.50 for a family (up to 5 people) or FREE with your annual family pass (which costs £20 and gives up to 5 people unlimited access to the science centre for 12 months). We are right next to Coronation Square car park which costs 30p an hour.
