Marvellous Moons Exhibition

25th May 2019 @ 10:00 am - 20th March 2020 @ 4:30 pm

Discover more about the moons of the Solar System in this free exhibition. From our familiar Moon to the lava world of Io, or toxic lakes on Titan, this photo-led exhibition showcases the fantastic variety of moons in our Solar System.

Moons are natural satellites that orbit planets, dwarf planets or asteroids. While Earth only has one moon, the Moon, nearly 200 moons have been discovered so far in our solar system alone. They come in many different shapes and sizes, and some may even harbour extra-terrestrial life. Come to the Astronomy Centre at the Royal Observatory to find out more in this free exhibition.
