Moon Season Film Screening: In the Shadow of the Moon

The incredible stories of the Apollo astronauts, from their voyages to the Moon to life afterwards. This documentary is filled with breath-taking footage from the missions and we hear directly from the brave crews that went there and returned. After experiencing the “magnificent desolation” of this screening, a Royal Observatory astronomer will take a look at the technological breakthroughs that paved the way to going to the Moon and leave you with some food for thought to the question: should we go back, and if so, why? Part of ‘Moon Season’ at Royal Museums Greenwich in conjuction with The Moon exhibition (opening July 19th).
